Harris County

Harris County

The biggest county in Texas can make a big change in the opioid epidemic.

Checking the Texas Prescription Monitoring Program for every patient, every time is one small step to help prevent or break the cycle of addiction in your community. Prescribers are required to use the Texas PMP to review every patient’s prescription history before prescribing opioids, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, or carisoprodol.
